And so this week begins the start of potty training "wonderland"! Oh boy, oh boy! I really am not trying to hard. We just got a "potty" this week and have "time" where we sit on it every day. Conner is TERRIFIED of it. Don't know why. Don't get it. But as soon as I try to sit him on it, he stiffens and cries and does everything possible to get off. He will sit and watch Caiden and still he won't sit there himself. We'll keep trying! They have time, in my opinion. Caiden on the other hand...oh my gosh! I don't get him either! He thinks it is, THE COOLEST thing ever to sit there on that little toilet! These pictures of him are of the first time we tried it out and I promise this is what he did that whole 10 min. he sat there. Every time I would say, "Go potty, potty," etc. he would grin and laugh and start jabbering. Oooookay. Don't think he is going to be a problem at all! :)
I really am not going to start super enforcing potty training until 18 months but I think it is stupid not to go ahead and make sure they are very familiar and KNOW what they are supposed to do before then! :) I have time being at home with them all day, after all!
Yesterday was Sam's birthday! :) We really didn't do a whole lot since he and I kinda celebrated over the weekend with camping! (lol keep on reading for that adventure *chuckle*) We had a little party and his favorite meal of chicken fajitas. We spent part of the evening to go and look at a rent house in Marlow we are thinking about moving too.
Yes, we are most likely moving. We've been thinking and talking about it for a couple months now and it looks like God dumped the PERFECT place in our laps. We LOVE where we are but the rent is literally eating us alive. The house we are looking at moving too is a good deal cheaper and for the price INCREDIBLY nice! We know they owner, actually she goes to our church which makes us feel really, super good about our landlord! :) A huge plus. We would most likely be moving out the end of next month, beginning of June. I am VERY excited but also full of dread over the thought of moving again! This will make my 3rd move in just over 2 years and I am not one who is used to that having lived in the same place my whole growing up years! It is a way lot of work moving and with two toddler boys, tons more stuff than last time we moved, and my photo sessions I already have booked around that time to stay on top of, the thought of moving sounds crazy. BUT...I love busy as ya'll know so maybe this is a blessing to my summer this year! :D YEAH! Yes, we are excited! Be praying for us if you think about it! That God will work everything out for us over the next two months! He has already done way above and beyond what we could ever ask for or imagine so I know He will keep on proving He is strong and at work in our near and far off future! :)

So yes, last weekend, rain and all, Sam and I braved the great outdoors of the Wichita Mountains and Lawtonka Lake to go camping for his birthday! We had had it planned for a month so when the forecast was predicted completely full of rain the week before there wasn't anything we could do! We were determined to go! :) lol We had the boys lined up to stay with my family all weekend and everything! We decided to enjoy the adventure whatever it was, however bad it was or wasn't! :D
We headed out Friday night and it seemed quite promising to be somewhat clear. It was cloudy but not raining and it was cool and refreshing! :) We found us a remote primitive campsite in the woods by the lake and we even had a "neighbor" nearby! Yes, there was an older man then camping not far off too! Maybe we weren't so crazy! The RV sites were PACKED out but there was only one other tent there that we saw and it was NOT in the primitive camping area.
We set up camp, started our fire, heated up water in the kettle over the flames for hot chocolate, and roasted some good ol' campfire marshmallows for smores! :D Oh, man were those good! My mouth is watering at the thought of eating those roasted marshmallows even as I type! AH! So, yes Friday night we were having a blast!

In the middle of night dumped. Heavy winds and rain like you wouldn't believe! (Our smart elderly "neighbor" left sometime in the night too. *laugh*) Thankfully we have a super good tent that did not leak. The fact we were up on high ground and in the woods was a huge plus too. When we finally got up the next morning around lunchtime *laughter* it was still raining. A look outside showed puddles and miniature lakes of water all around us and mud, mud and more mud. We decided we just needed to get out of there and Sam made the comment that he hoped our car wasn't stuck. Smart thought! Eh? Me, with a bladder about to burst we hopped in to drive up to the restrooms and we found out REAL fast we weren't going anywhere without some work. It took us over a hour to get out. Not to meantion that we both got pretty darn covered in mud and completely wet pushing the car and piling limbs and sticks up under the tires. We did get out leaving behind MAJOR ruts galore and finally get to the bathrooms now that my stomach was in pain from waiting so long! :D LOL
Needless to say, I think we'll try again at camping when there is NO rain in the forecast! :) But it was still a blast! It was! I do have to admit the mud ridden clothes and hot shower was awfully nice though! Three days later I am still doing laundry and cleaning up from the trip. The garage has blankets and shoes, ponchos, and car mats laying and hanging everywhere!

Oh, funny story for the week...
So yesterday I was in wal-mart with the boys caught talking with a dear elderly lady for about 10-15 min. in the produce section. (This is ALWAYS a normal thing when I have the twins...which is always...so I tend to allow a good extra 30 min. just to talk to people in stores! SERIOUSLY NOT kidding either!) I had my back to the cart, Caiden in the basket, Conner in the seat, parked right next to the fruit. After we finally had parted with the dear lady telling the boys "bye" I turned to find that Caiden had pulled a container of strawberries off the shelf, was sitting in the cart with several scattered around him and was happily chewing on one in each hand the container open in his lap! OH, what I would've given to have had my camera at that moment as he looked up happily from his snack, those innocent blue eyes telling me he was completely enjoying his snack! I couldn't help but laugh! It was simply TOO cute! I was buying strawberries anyway so a couple with bites out of them was no harm done! :D He was bored with shopping already, and he wanted a snack!

Oh and for heaven's sake Caiden, busted his lip AGAIN climbing on the rocking chair today. It's probably like the 100th busted lip they have gotten already in their short lifetime from climbing on things or falling down or off something! (Well not really but it sure seems like it!) Boys will be boys! He barely even cried though I don't see how it did not hurt! This one was BAD. Bled forever and it is all swollen up. I can see where his bottom tooth jammed into his upper lip. Ouch.

So the rest of this week consists of, well first off rain I guess. Lots of it the prediction is anyway. I am SICK of rain. I LOVE rain but not when it completely screws up your entire schedule and messes up photo shoots for 2 weeks straight! I am praying that we don't get rain over the weekend for SURE! The boys have a birthday party to go to on Friday. Other than that this week is slowed again from what it has been like and is going to be like the next two months around here! Laundry, cleaning, entering finances, (I did a hour worth today and Sam finished up tonight with 3+ hours worth. blah. We were WAY behind.) shopping, playing outside, hopefully getting in some flower bed weed pulling if we get a pretty day and I need to work up in the attic and finish cleaning up everything in the garage from our trip.

This week I wish for a place I could go to and take the boys that was fun and adventurous outdoors. With woods and a creek and pretty flowers and such. There is NOTHING pretty and outdoorsy awesome around here at all and I long for it. I did find one place that was cool looking off and out driving one day but it was on private property AND man made. I'm not a HUGE fan of that usually. Not when I am in the mood for adventure and privacy in nature, for sure.

Question:
Does anyone have a washer and dryer they need to sell anyone know where we can get a good washer and dryer at a really good price?

Have a great week ya'll!
