Adorable lil' munchkin!
I had a wonderful time last Saturday with this adorable little girl and her parents! It was a pleasure to meet them and get to take their photos! They were SUCH a beautiful, sweet family! It was extremely hard for me just to pick a few of my favs. to post! I wanted to put Olivia in my pocket and take her home with me so bad! :D Her and all her cute little faces.
Knowledge vs. Wisdom

You think it is the same thing. I don't agree. No...I strongly do NOT agree.

Knowledge of God's word makes you legalistic, judgemental and condemning...like the Pharisees. You know God's word inside and out. You know the scripture. You know what to do so you think. You are a good person. You say good prayers in front of others. You act holy. You "look" holy. But really you are selfish. You are hurtful and hateful. Others feel uncomfortable around you or
think that you don't like them.

Wisdom on the other hand...I know if you have wisdom it looks differently. If you are wise you are applying God's Word. You will love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and love your neighbor as yourself. AS YOURSELF! It doesn't say just so and so...or just those "good" people or "better" people or people with the same "thoughts" and beliefs as you. It says your neighbor! The person next to you at the supermarket. The homeless dude by the street holding the sign that you always say to, "Dude get a job! ANY job is better than what you are doing"! That person that feels like and enemy of yours that seems to eat you alive.

Legalism comes from Knowledge. I know this from experience. I know I have to be careful but I was raised around more people filled with knowledge than anything. Living by nothing but knowledge. It was knowing the Scripture but not applying the scripture so they lived by rules and regulations to keep themselves "good". They never could understand why they could never overcome or conquer things in life. They thought God was never there for them.

It's sad and depressing. I have been there. It is true that you will always be struggling with applying the scripture to your own life! Everyday we struggle. But it is a choice! I made a choice to have a relationship instead of a religion. To have God's Wisdom instead of just Spiritual knowledge. Think about it! The Pharisees....we see them as such awful people. Jerks! Evil self righteous sinners! YET they knew the Scriptures INSIDE and OUT! They KNEW it! But that is just it. They only KNEW it and didn't realize how much they weren't applying it. They just THOUGHT they were and thus since they knew so much they were much holier than others.

God does NOT play favorites. He loves us all the same! Why is it so stinkin' difficult for us to believe that, to apply that, to know that! Why is it we always think higher of ourselves if we didn't or don't do something that someone else does.

YOU and I are that man or woman that had an affair
YOU and I are that hard hearted person
YOU and I are THEM! It is only because of CHRIST we are any different so why do we always stick up our noses when it isn't even us! Anyone we look down on even for the smallest reason....well got news for ya. God Loves them JUST AS MUCH as He loves you and me. So why the heck do we not do the same.
Just because they go to movies and you think that is wrong doesn't make them wrong.
Just because they like a drink you think that is wrong doesn't make them wrong.
Just because they like to dance and you think that is wrong doesn't make them wrong.
Just because they listen to music you wouldn't doesn't make them wrong.
Just because that girl wears pants for heavens sake and you don't doesn't make them wrong!

We are such self righteous jerks ourselves. We are NO different then the Pharisees.
