Lydia's Maternity
I am not at all a portrait studio photographer so when Lydia asked me to do some shots with her backdrop at her house I was excited but nervous about the new experience! I certainly am not comfortable with that style simply because I don't feel like I know what I am doing having never done it before but I was quite surprised with the results and think with some much needed practice I could certainly get better with backdrop photos instead of outdoor natural settings only!

Jon & Lydia
It was quite fun getting to take Lydia's personal maternity shots (soon to come) and then afterwards going to Foster Park for some of her and Jon together with their little son Caleb soon-to-be born in November!
I hadn't ever been to this park and it turned out to be a lovely place for photos!

We wanted to capture the sunset more but this park wasn't very obliging to that since we couldn't even see the sunset so we used the beautiful natural disappearing light to get some silhouette shots!

Long time...
...nothing new?
That is exactly it I know.
Truth is I haven't taken any professional pictures to post on here in the past few months! It has been a crazy life settling in the fact of having twin boys and truth is moving to a new place doesn't exactly always give you the best of starts with having photo shoot opportunities! You have to start from scratch with people getting to know you and your work. With two boys on the way I am not looking to start a real solid big business project anyway since I simply am NOT going to have the time once they get here! I'll be taking enough pics of them though to cover several families! :D *laugh*
But...I am excited to say I have my first Texas photo opp. this week with an expectant Mom from our church here, Lydia! I am pumped about it and hoping that it will open more doors with other people in the church possibly! We shall see!
Another improvement is I am working on the possibility of finally getting a real photography website up as well as designing business cards which I think would be absolutely splendiferous!
